General comments
Triclabendazol innemen tijdens of kort na een maaltijd
Behandeling met praziquantel en/of albendazol is bewezen niet-effectief!
Triclabendazol is te verkrijgen via de apotheek van het Erasmus/Havenziekenhuis, de AMC apotheek of via Internationale Apotheek Venlo met artsenverklaring (levertijd: 7 – 10 dagen).
Er zijn onvoldoende gegevens bekend over gebruik van triclabendazol bij kinderen.
Bij schapen is er in Nederland in toenemende mate sprake van resistentie tegen triclabendazol.
Nitazoxanide met eten innemen.
Nitazoxanide is in Nederland niet geregistreerd maar is een zogeheten "ZFW-middel".
