General comments
Bij heupfracturen, implantaten en ingrepen wervelkolom: bij bekende S.aureus-dragers wordt aangeraden mupirocine-neuszalf toe te voegen.
Cefazoline pas toedienen na afname van kweken bij verdenking infectie. Geen wonduitstrijken, tenminste 4 diepe weefselkweken met schone instrumenten.
