Na recente opname in een ziekenhuis of een verpleeghuis òf ontstaan > 72 uur na opname òf tijdens antibioticagebruik
Op geleide van kweekresultaat zo mogelijk antibiotica aanpassen.
Dekking Pseudomonas aeruginosa bij kolonisatie/infectie < 1 jaar
Bij (vermoedelijke) allergie voor penicillines en/of cefalosporines:

Overleg met de arts-microbioloog/internist-infectioloog voor een alternatief regime.
