General comments

Behandel patiënten met ongecompliceerde acute diverticulitis (Hinchey 1) niet routinematig met antibiotica.
Duur afhankelijk van kliniek. Er zijn aanwijzingen dat 4 dagen antibiotische behandeling na het bereiken van source control voldoende is (Sawyer et al. NEJM 2015).
Amikacine in geval van sepsis totdat de kweken bekend zijn.
