bij gebruik van amikacine is een spiegel controle vereist (zie onder tabblad TDM, aminoglycosides).
Totale therapieduur ten minste 6 weken bij ongecompliceerd beloop
Op geleide kweekresultaat zo mogelijk antibiotica aanpassen
Switch naar oraal is afhankelijk van kweekresultaat, klinische respons en aan- of afwezigheid van bacteriëmie
